Hi, I’m Carol Webster. My life as a professional painter began with painting murals and furniture in the late 1980’s. I gave old furniture a new life with paint most often with oil-based paints and sprayed-on lacquers. I can’t believe I didn’t start a fire with the stuff. Not to mention the environmental havoc I was creating. Murals were all painted with acrylics, though.
In 1993, I went to work at Home Depot in the paint department. I learned about new paints and tools. I gave up my mural and furniture-painting business and devoted the next eleven years to Home Depot.
When I left Home Depot, I started painting furniture and cabinets. This time, I chose to use the safest, most environmentally-friendly, highest-quality materials I could find. I studied new techniques.
Today, I paint or repaint furniture for my clients in the Oklahoma City metro area.
